Our Priest-in-Charge - The Rev. Eve Butler-Gee
The Rev. Eve Butler-Gee was raised overseas by American parents and educated in British schools. Returning to the United States as a teenager, she attended St. Catherine’s School in Richmond and Marjorie Webster and Trinity Colleges in Washington, D.C. She made her career in the House of Representatives, specializing in legislative affairs. From 1987 to 2003, Eve served as Chief Journal Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives. Eve and her husband, Tom, retired to Williamsburg in 2007. Shortly thereafter, she realized a life-long call and entered the process for the ordained ministry. She graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2010 and was ordained to the priesthood in December 2012.
